The staff were both efficient and amiable. the room was great-sized and newly remodeled with a comfy bed. - I loved the ancient-style building. - the breakfast offered was freshly cooked and hot, with the best strawberries and good strong coffee.

We had a great 1 night stay at this quirky and charming hotel. the setting was perfect, being close to the center of Kirkby Lonsdale and the town square. - It was convenient to have a local Spa shop nearby. - the overall experience was excellent, and we would definitely book again.

The location of the hotel couldn't be better, right in the center of town and just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. The room we stayed in was nicely decorated and clean, with a comfortable bed and a spotless en-suite bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. Additionally, the back of the pub, which I presume was near the smoking area, provided a nice view.

On the downside, the parking situation was inconvenient and there was no reception area, which made check-in a bit confusing.

The room rates are reasonable, the bed was super comfortable, and the inclusive breakfast was fantastic. The service at breakfast was top-notch, and the variety of choices, including pastries, was impressive. The surrounding village is charming and offers plenty to see and do. We also found the local residents to be friendly, helpful, and engaging. our stay at the Snooty Fox was mind-blowing and exceeded all our expectations.

Great Easter getaway! The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location was ideal, right in the heart of town with easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions. We loved the cozy atmosphere of the bar area, especially with the open fire. Plus, being able to charge drinks to the room was convenient.

Parking was easy, with plenty of space available nearby. The hotel's location near Devils Bridge was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, such as the beautiful lakes. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious, with a good range of options to choose from.

What a delightful find! This hotel, nestled amongst the bustling streets of a charming town, exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The attention to detail was evident from the moment we stepped foot into our beautifully lit, candlelit room. The prices were incredibly reasonable, offering excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the start. The basic amenities provided were everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the rooms themselves were lovely, just as pictured on the advert.

The room we were allocated was in the attic and had low doorways and beams which resulted in constantly banging our heads. The shower in the room was very small and uncomfortable to use.
